Students have the opportunity throughout the year to participate in an interschool sports competition against special development schools in the south east region. This program runs on a Friday afternoon and includes Volleyball, Soccer, Netball, AFL Football and Lawn Bowls. This provides an incredible opportunity for students to further develop and generalise specific skill sets in the community. Top teams will be selected to compete at state level against their peers.

At Peninsula Specialist College in Term Two and Four, students have the opportunity to participate in a weekly Interschool Basketball competitions. Students complete against ten schools in the South East region.

Throughout the year, there is select sports and programs that are offered to students to excel their skill development to compete at a higher level. Students who perform well throughout their physical education unit are chosen to represent the school in the following sports;

• Cross-country
• Athletics
• Swimming.
