Thank you for visiting the Peninsula College website. I hope that you enjoy finding out about all the exciting learning opportunities we have at the College.
Peninsula College is a specialist setting for students who meet our enrolment criteria, which is outlined in our Enrolment Policy.
At Peninsula College we provide a broad range of engaging learning opportunities based around the Victorian Curriculum and the Victorian Pathways Certificate. We work to ensure that all students experience the breadth of the curriculum at their point of learning need.
The staff at the college are experienced, dedicated, and enthusiastic. As well as classroom teachers and education support staff, we have specialist teachers in the areas of Design & Technology and Visual Arts and specialist programs including Health & Physical Education, Music, Dance, Perceptual Motor Program and Play-Based Learning.
At Peninsula College we have a team of therapy staff which include a Speech Therapist, Occupational Therapists, and Physiotherapists. To support student wellbeing, we have a Mental Health Practitioner as well as a Wellbeing and Engagement Officer at the College.
We follow the Schoolwide Positive Behaviour Support (SWPBS) model and empower students to have a voice in their learning. We have a Student Representative Council which meet regularly to discuss ideas and make suggestions.
We are lucky to have a beautiful environment next to bushland on one side and Dromana Secondary College on the other.
Please contact the college if you would like any further information, have any questions or would like to have a tour of our school.
